What are LiveZones?

LiveZones are groups of items that represent an area or room in a house, apartment or building.

Each LiveZone can be turned 'on' or 'off' manually but the real power is that LiveZones can be tagged for proximity awareness.  When a LiveZone is tagged it can be turned 'on' or 'off' with a single command or button press.  Your phone or watch will know which Zone it is in based on the nearest LiveZone tag and will run the 'on' or 'off' action for that Zone.

You can create a LiveZone by Selecting the '+' button in the upper left of the LiveKey app.  Select Create a LiveZone and then give your LiveZone a name.

After that you can add Zone Off and Zone On actions for your new LiveZone.

Just press 'Zone On' or 'Zone Off' and the nearest tagged Zone actions will execute.

You can Execute Zone 'On' and Zone 'Off' in many ways:

- Select the Zone Action Buttons at the bottom of the App screen

- Use the Siri or Shortcut action on your app for Zone Off and Zone on (see adding shortcuts for more information)

- Use the Siri or Shortcut action on your Watch for Zone Off and Zone on (see adding shortcuts for more information)
